If your water could get you sick, would you like to know? Meet Kaiya. She was born with Gastroschisis, a fancy word for a condition where your intestines grow outside of your body in the womb.

This birth defect may have been caused by a high level of Atrazine in her water supply. While the exact circumstances of her story are unique, local hospitals have encountered a significantly larger occurrence of this birth defect than the national average. While definitive answers are elusive, we can all agree that clean water is essential to healthy living.
We decided to build an app that would gather local water quality information and inform the community.
